Tina has a great eye for light and the patience to wait it out. In other words she doesn’t rush her images and this shows in the depth of her images. She captures light at sunset that happens well past sunset and approaching the last light a day and that’s a totally different look than most photographers I’ve seen presenting in their work. What is the Lighthouse here off of Islamorada that is photographed thousands of times a day, but Tina has some images that catches the first light a day or the very last in ways. I’m not seen others present In their work. It’s a fresh way to look at an iconic Lighthouse that has been here since the 1870s and a new and special way that kind of dedication to capture an image shows up in all of her work.
